Bimbi Bellhouse and her
team of designers have been running the workforce of around twenty five
outworkers in their curtain workrooms, carpet warehouse and decorating
teams for over 30 years. Her husband Spencer Power, a fine artist
and specialist painter with many years’ experience, heads up the building
and decorating side of the company.
Bimbi, who originally read
English at Cambridge and then went into advertising, changed direction
after the birth of her first child Max in 1978. Since 1979 she has
been helping her clients achieve their ideal interiors in all manner
of different environments – city apartments, large family houses on
London squares and communal gardens, country cottages, stately homes
and houses, villas and chalets abroad. Over the years the company
has also designed many commercial interiors, hotels, golf clubs and
restaurants amongst them.
